Now that ethnography is being creatively refashioned from all types of quarters, with novel collaboratories, centres and spaces of digital and methodological inventiveness and design – now that ethnography is finding new centres for itself, we are delighted to announce the launch of The Periphery for Ethnographic Auto-Constructions.

The Periphery casts itself not as a ‘centre’ but as, well, a periphery. It boasts not a methodological programme but an auto-constructed one.
